Ok, I'm returning from the dead to ask for help on one little thing. So far I'm tolerating Yanfly's ItemCore despite all the clutter. Granted, I'm able to just hide most things off-screen using SRD's Super Tools engine. I mostly just need ItemCore to support the Info Window in EquipCore. The problem is, as you might have guessed, the ItemActionWindow in the New Scene_Item. I find it redundant and ugly and oversized and I just want it gone.

I have tried just setting the "Updated Scene Item" option to false, but that also disables the Info Window in the Equip scene. I also tried quoting parts out in the plugin script, but I got a raging headache trying to find the sections to quote out and just ended up breaking things.

If anyone can tell me what exactly I should be quoting out in ItemCore to remove that god-awful function and restore the default item selection, or even provide a workaround, that would be lovely. If not, I suppose I'll try to tolerate it but I feel it will greatly diminish the quality of my project.

When I enter the game, unusable items are still white (not grey) as if they can be used, and selecting any item at all returns:

commenting out line 2153 just breaks things more. I think I need to take out entire sections, but it's hard to tell where these sections begin or end.

I want the ItemActionWindow gone, plain and simple. I want to just have the base rpgmaker function of Select Item And Use, If Item Cannot Be Used It Is Greyed Out.
I do not want Select Item To Open Oversized Window That Tells You Whether Or Not Item Can Be Used And Select Again To Use.

Putting it even more simply, in the form of pictures, I want this :
