Hey all,

I'm looking for a way to remove the red flashes you get while walking around poisoned.

I use flashes during events so dont want to disable that, just a way to disable the poison states red flashes.

Thanks.

Little thing I threw together, instructions are within

Code:
#==============================================================================# ** Posion Switch#------------------------------------------------------------------------------# Lets you select a switch to toggle the damage flash from walking while# poisoned or on a damage tile. Switch is on, it flashed. Switch is off no# flash.## Works for poison and damage tiles.#==============================================================================# ** Change Log#------------------------------------------------------------------------------# - Created 9/8/15#==============================================================================module JELLY POISON_SWITCH = 1 # change this number to the switch you wish to useend#==============================================================================# ** Game_Screen#------------------------------------------------------------------------------# This class handles screen maintenance data, such as changes in color tone,# flashes, etc. It's used within the Game_Map and Game_Troop classes.#==============================================================================class Game_Screen #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- # * Start Flash (for Poison/Damage Floor) #-------------------------------------------------------------------------- def start_flash_for_damage alias jelly_start_flash_for_damage start_flash_for_damage if $game_switches[JELLY::POISON_SWITCH] == true start_flash(Color.new(255,0,0,128), 8) end endend

A much easier way is to go in your scripts,

Under (Game Objects>Game_Screen)

Look for this at the bottom.

  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  # * Start Flash (for Poison/Damage Floor)
  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  def start_flash_for_damage
    start_flash(Color.new(255,0,0,128), 8)
  end
end

SIMPLY CHANGE THE VALUES IN BRACKETS TO 0!

IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS

  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  # * Start Flash (for Poison/Damage Floor)
  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------
  def start_flash_for_damage
    start_flash(Color.new(0,0,0,0), 8)
  end
end

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
