Remove x1 from Item in menus

I would like to remove the "x1" for an item if I only have 1 of them. However, I do want x2, x3, etc. to appear for items I have more than one of.

It is probably a simple If-Else condition script, but I do not know where to apply it..

Ex:

Potion __________________

Super Potion __________ x2

OneItem ________________

Three Items ___________x3

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
