I was eager to dive back into RPG Maker to work on my game, when this very depressing message came up.
Suffice to say, I'm pretty upset. I purchased the game on G2A for around $40, and now I'm regreting the decision. After being unable to contact the seller, and the support team not being able to help, I've decided to not make a purchase there again.
Luckily, the Humble Bundle sale is still going on, so I can purchase it for $46. Hopefully there wont be any issues going forward.
I guess this topic serves as a warning to those purchasing games on G2A, and I hope you can avoid this happening to you in the future. Thanks for your time, folks.
