Hi everybody.  This is my first time posting here, so feel free to let me know if I'm going about my posting incorrectly.

I'm currently using Yanfly's Ace Equip Engine, but my game doesn't use the MAT or MDF stats.  I managed to hide/remove these stats everywhere but the Equip Status screen, and I would appreciate if anyone could tell me how to turn this:

...Into something like this (bad MS Paint edit):

Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I've moved this thread to RGSSx Script Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Can you please post a link to the script you're using?

Normally the Window_EquipStatus draws those stats via the refresh method, but since you've got Max HP showing up there and it normally doesn't by default, that means the script you're using has already overwritten that method. We need to see the script to be able to tell you what to change.

yep, nice and easy.

However, you need to clarify something. That script draws 8 parameters. Your screenshot only shows 7. MMP doesn't appear in your list. What did you do to get rid of it?

Someone else made a script specifically to hide MMP, and I'm using that.  I'm a newbie when it comes to this stuff, though, so I don't know how to do the same to MAT and MDF.

The script was:

Code:
class Window_EquipStatus < Window_Base  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  # overwrite method: draw_item  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  alias without_draw_item draw_item unless $@  def draw_item(dx, dy, param_id)    return if param_id == 1    if param_id > 0	  dy -= line_height    end    without_draw_item(dx, dy, param_id)  endend

Alright. Get rid of that script. The change should have been made in a different method.

Put this into a new slot just below your Yanfly script:

Code:
class Window_EquipStatus < Window_Base  def refresh    contents.clear    5.times {|i| draw_item(0, line_height * i, [0,2,3,6,7][i]) }  endend
Let me know if it works. I might need to tweak those numbers a little bit if it shows the wrong things.

Does your Status screen look alright? It shows parameters the same way, and might need the same sort of mods.

I managed to figure out hoe to hide those parameters on the status screen before I came here. Thanks, though.

I'm bumping this thread because I've discored I have the same problem with Yanfly's Victory Aftermath screen.  That is, when a character levels up, the "hidden
"stats" are displayed there.  Could anyone help me remove these parameters from this screen also?

EDIT:  Nevermind, figured it out.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
