Repeating cut scenes within a conditional branch

Hi I'm in a bit of a pinch with one of my cut scenes. I wanted to do a event where  the MC cannot go through without a certain item, but instead


another event page plays with one of the actors tells him to find it. Now the problem for me is that the event in general does not work again. Any solutions?

You forgot to turn off the self switch.


You could simplify the event there by placing the code of the event on the second page on the first page's conditional branch (on the else area).
