I wanted to replace the default GUI with images but would also to stop the windowskin rendering as well. I wont have issues breaking down each scene to find the windows i wanna replace. Well...i barely know anything about programming so this is harsh for me. I've tried using multiple plugins to solve this by editing the background alone and it endend up not the way i wanted. Idk if Luna Engine for MV would allow me to make customized menus the way i want.
Luna Engine can solve the way you want. The default window can be edited if you just want to change the skin. If you want to use images, you also need to use switches and variables on each part and event the whole part. Making a plugin can also resolve this, but so far I heard, Luna Engine make alot of things very easely by 1 button press to show its names, and from that, screenshot and paste it in paint, gimp etc and save, than its easy to know what you want to change. I dont know Luna Engine but from the looks, its specifically designd for GUI, Menu's. Easier than event the bunch or make a plugin out of it. But possible.
