Hi Guys,

i dont get it with the events. still kinda stuck with this theme.

so i got 2 Baskets in front of a door. that door leads to a room.
Following thing should happen. The Flames are off. when i get into the room and win the battle and then go out the (seperate animated) Fire should get activated for ever.

i created the fire and was able to place it on the buskets with the doodads plugin by Yanfly .... but thats not enough for me.. (i prefer the solution with the event) i would like to learn how to get this function to work.

could someone lead me to a tutorial? looking since 5hour already :LZSteary:

Thank you for your time!

Use one of the flame event sprites, rather than doodads, and just assign them the variable that represents you winning the battle.

There may well be a doodads solution but idk haven't used it in ages.

In the event for the boss, toggle a switch after the battle processing line.

Make the "basket" event image an unlit torch by default. Add a second page to the event. Condition for the page should be the switch that was toggled by defeating the boss. Image for the second page should be the same torch, except lit.

If you really want to use the basket, you'll probably have to create your own tiles for the flame part. I don't think you can toggle a Doodad on/off.

Thanks i'll try it directly!

the basket is a part of my parallax mapping. and the Fire is a seperated tile :) should work when i get through it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
