check the rpg personality test thing I got my sig picture from, there's like a hundred different 'class' names there.

Edit: oops, the pictures gone - but you know the ones "I am an adventurer", "I am the necromancer", etc...

You could always try making your own unique names for classes, that way u can make the fit your needs.

for example in my friends game he calls one class I Symbol Caster (mage) as he calls his magic Symbolism

@Mouser: Could you get me a link to it or if I should Google it? It's name is RPG personality test, right?

@monkeyintartan: Well, thanks for your feedback. But I thought which CrazyCrab's told me is enough.

Look through the various D&D manuals released over the years.

As for stuff off the top of my head, not just self made but gotten elsewhere too. Not going to include much in the way of sci-fi.

Warriors (tanky) ::: Guardian, Defender, Stalwart,  Bulwark, Pikeman, Knight

Warriors (DPS) ::: Samurai, Berserker, Barbarian, Battlerager, Martial Artist (could be tanky), Brawler (could be tanky), Slayer,

Warriors (Support/hybrid) ::: Commander, Tactician, Strategist, Gladiator, Dragoon, Mercenary,  Blade-dancer (can be either damage heavy or counter-attack heavy)

Thieves::: Dervish (arguably warrior DPS but squishy), Gambler, Thief, Rogue, Thug, Burglar, Scout, Archer, Marksman, Gunner, Sharpshooter, Crossbowman

Mages (DPS) ::: Evoker, Warlock, Sorcerer,

Mages (Support/utility/hybrid) ::: Summoner, Necromancer, Enchanter, Healer, Diviner, Haruspex, Witch, Wizard, Conjurer, Cabalist,

Hybrids/etc: Dream-thief, Bard, Rune Knight, Cleric, Paladin, Duskblade, Ninja/Assassin (depends), Bounty Hunter, Arcane Archer, Arcane Gunner, Inquisitor, Psion, Beastmaster, Death Knight, Dark Knight, Blackguard, Druid,

I can probably come up with more if given the time.

Thank you. I think I got for fantasy, sci-fi classes are still in need.

If that is the case, some of the above still apply, such as gunner, bounty hunter, marksman, sharpshooter scout and the magic user ideas.

others I can think of immediately for a sci-fi campaign that havent been listed (and can overlap with fantasy too sometimes.)

Pilot

Ace Pilot

Con Artist

Scoundrel

Pirate

Heavy Gunner

Artilleryman

Infantryman

Specialist

Demolitions Expert

Medic

Researcher

Engineer

That depends-- star trek or star wars?

Star trek is more "real world" in that all classes will revolve around actual professions or fields of expertise. Most melee classes would be eliminated, as sci-fi weaponry is usually limited to guns of some kind. There'd be no magic classes, obvs. This type is also more militaristic, which means you could draw from actual military jobs and add sci-fi flavor.

Star wars is more fantastic, in that they have magic, just by another name. These types of stories also tend to be less about space armadas and more about individual characters, so there's *less* battleship combat. This type of scifi, to me, also includes superheroes, since superpowers would be magic by another name. Melee fighters with lighstabers or mutant strength, ESP wizards and jedi healers, etc.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
