Due to the sad corruption of my game, Erythia. I have decided to make a Binding of Isaac style RPG . I have a request for a script though, could someone make a script in where the camera cant move past certain events? For example, If I were to make a wall of Events that were set as "Under Character" and "Autorun", then I were to put in a comment saying:

<camera barrier> , the camera could not move past this event. Im trying to make a Legend of Zelda-style dungeon.

Maybe, instead of that, make a script for a Legend of Zelda camera?

RMMV
So, if i understand correctly, you are saying you want to be able to make the dungeon one big map, with the camera not going past certain barrier events until you move to another room, in which case the camera would slide to fit inside of the barrier events of the new room?

*would something like work instead? http://himeworks.com/2014/11/hiding-and-showing-rooms-with-overlay-mapping/

No, I would like the camera to not even cross over the empty tiles of the map. Similar to like the first Legend of Zelda game dungeon.

If your maps are no larger than the size of the screen, then you can use a script that allows you to fix the camera position to a specific place on the map.

You have several options available

- Camera Target

- Enhanced Camera

If the maps are larger than the screen, the second script advertises the ability to "lock" the camera, so you can just have it so that once you reach a certain position, the camera doesn't move anymore.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
