Okay so basically I have these two scripts:

This one provides an awesome FF style swirl effect.

http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/blog/121/entry-448-frame-buffer-battle-swirl/

While this one:

http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/10573-battle-transitions/

Provides generic swirl effects using images.

Now, my issue is that since the first script gives me no customization

but the second script does, I was wondering if someone could make a patch that allows me to either call the first script via script call or the second by its normal script call.

This would mean that the first script that provides the fancy swirl effect would not activate unless called for previously.

OR

If someone could edit the first script to allow customization and more options to use more than one transition effect and choose which one to use at any given time, I could simply kick second script out of my project and use the first alone.

Either way, assistance would be appreciated

Please don't post other people's scripts in your post. Provide a link to them - preferably the forum thread or blog article where they're introduced, as they will contain more information that just what's in the scripts.

For the love of freaking god....*edits OP* not like your going to get any additional info out of the post for the scripts from their OPs but oh well...

Seriously, no joke. If the OPs had put any valuable info them I would have linked instead.

Wow, that first script is super awesome. I had no idea such a script even existed. I'm totally interested in this too since I was already using Dekitas Battle transitions. Imho the first script with customization options would be perfect!

I agree that the first script would be awesome with customization for sound effects and such but don't get your hopes up, chances are no one will bother to pay attention to this thread. ;_;

Seriously? Do you want me to list all the reasons we don't like you doing this? It's not as if we don't tell people every, single time. There are a bunch of other reasons, and we really shouldn't have to list them all every time. I gave you one, and it should be good enough - it's not like we can read your mind and know there's nothing useful, not to mention how often people leave out info "because they don't think it's important" when it is the exact info we need. LINK to scripts, don't copy & paste them. It's as easy as that.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
