Requesting dead mac "style" sprites

Hey all,

So i have been searching through the internet looking for some "dead" mac style sprites & i am now convinced that they are not out there (even grandmadeb doesn't know of any).  I am looking for someone who can make a dead mac sprite.  The map i need them for is an over run mine so i am hoping to get a sprite that looks like a mine worker.  I will attach an image of the map.  I would also be very willing to exchange my map making skills for the sprite & will post a link to my deviant art.

Finding a good pixel artist in general is pretty tough.  I've been looking for 3 weeks and so far everyone has not met what I need.

On a different note, that map is REALLY good for being for the most part, basic RPGM material

Yeah i am contemplating changing to xp sprites because of the availability.  BTW thank you for the compliment about the map!

So... you need just the dead sprite or both, alive and dead?

It would be much easier if you'd attach references of a mineworker and the requested charset style.

alive & dead would be better, but i could make just dead work.  I guess i can post a mac sprite, but i figured they were commonly known.

Is there a way you can post us a picture of what kind of mine worker you're looking for? Like, more modern with a hardhat/miner's hat, or something at goes more with the fantasy style of the RTP sprites?

Oh, and by the way, that map is amazing. O.O *stares*

Sorry kat i guess i was not clear!

-They are fantasy sprites so they should look like medieval workers

-I will post some of the sprites i am using so you can see

-They can just look like workers even or day laborers

like in the second picture i posted the 3rd sprite (male town person) would be fine.

I'll see if I can fiddle with this and come up with something. I can't make any promises, but I'll give it a shot! Now, if I can just remember where I saved that downed sprite base . . .

Something like this perhaps, I've only spent a quick 30 mins on it I can edit it again if its not quite right, seems right to me though

most of the rtp sprites are pretty good for editing into mack style they just need stretching out lol

This is what I ended up with. (The base I used says it's from "cucumberapples" but it's been on my computer for so long I'll have to double check.) I think I need to tweak it a little more . . .

Thats awesome how did you learn? Ive focused most of my time on parallax mapping but at some point might want to learn some spriting (its seems to be the hardest thing to find)

It really shows, your map design is superb.  I suck at coming up with designs.  I almost want to hire someone to sketch up the map design so my other guy can paint it XD

Not rich though so I'm not going over our 6 team members plus me

dreamer what is your game? Maybe i can trade you some mapping for something.

I usually have an idea of what i want before i start mapping, then will look for inspiration on deviant art, i have hand drawn one map which i havent shown publicly yet because it is HUGE!
