Reset Skill Plugin

I couldn't find anything using web searches or anything already on this thread.

I was wondering if there would be any way to make a Reset skill. Basically, what this would do is capture Enemy HP, MP and afflicted states, Player HP, MP, TP and afflicted states at the beginning of the battle and allow the player at any time during the battle to "reset" to the beginning of the battle.

I tried using variables to capture the player information, but am unable to set HP to value, only decrease or increase. Also, I have a good bit of states that can carry over from battle to battle (such as blind and poison) which I could create checks via switches and re-add them at beginning of the battle, but again, the issue is setting the HP/MP/TP values to what they were at the beginning.

I figure a plugin would be the easiest way of doing it. Of course, if there was a way via events and battle events, I'd be more than happy to go that route.

Quick and dirty way to set them within the default system would be to first, decrease the heath (or other value) by 9999, default maximum for them (or larger if you use plugin that unlimits the values) and then increase by the value you got at the start of the battle. It can't decrease under zero so that two step process should give you desired result.

Thanks much. I tried it and wasn't able to get it to work properly using variables. For what ever reason, even though I had the variables to set at the beginning of battle, Turn 0, the values didn't reset properly when the skill was used. I think a plugin would be best for this, especially since I'm using an ATB, but this is certainly not going to kill my game if i can't get it.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
