Hello everyone.

I need some help into running a certain event after every encounter. After the end of every fight, I need this event to set four variables down to 0 to effectively reset their values. I tried using Yanfly's Base Troop Event, but the only set up I can do is that after the enemy marked as #1 is down, the variables reset.

?

Is there any way I can possibly get that event to run after every encounter is finished?

There was a script like this for Ace. I guess you'll have to wait for an MV one to pop up.

You could use a common event to reset all the variables after battle.

What ever event you have, that changes the variables in the first place, have it also turn on a switch. Make a common event requiring said switch, reset all variables, and turn off switch.

This will make such activate right after every battle, if the variables require resetting.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
