Hey, it's me again. I have a folder called Credits that's used by a script for the ending credits, is there a way to allow this to be used in the other resolutions too like the other folders (such as pictures)?

sorry I've been really busy and fight colds and flus so I've been inactive. I looked at the code and it looks like it should support custom folder names as well. Just set up you resolution folders like normal and make a Credits folder for the resolutions you want custom sizes for. I took a screenshot just to be clear:

let me know if it still isn't working and a link to the script might help or can pm it to me if it was made custom for your game

Ok, I tried it out and it's working for me. What is it doing wrong for you?

I didn't resize all the images, just the layout and the background one, but here's a screen shot of it:

The particles seem to cover the whole screen and the images scale to the proper resolution if they're in the folder for the selected resolution. Just to make sure, so sorry if this is already obvious.. but when you put the files into the resolution/Credits folder, they are adjusted images? By this I mean the image in the folders need to be scaled up to the resolution, if you just copy them over with the smaller size, then they will still show in the game with the smaller size. That part of the script was written in so that you can change images based on the resolution the game is running. So you could have a really big and detailed title screen if the resolution is set high, or a much simpler one if the resolution is set to low. Or you can crop your images for various resolutions instead of stretching them. Like one of the default title screens would look very distorted if you just tried to stretch it to fit a wide screen resolution, but you could open gimp or something and stretch the image up to scale and then crop off some of the top and bottom so it looks cleaner.

Again sorry if you knew that already and the problem is some place else. I'm just not able to find it and that is all that is coming to mind

Yes. But the pictures still appear too small.

Do you mind sending me a demo? You can pm a link to me if it has anything sensitive in it. I'm not sure why its working for me and not you. Maybe there is a compatibility issue somewhere.

Hello,

I'm loving this script, however I'm just having one tiny issue: it does not seem to work properly with Fullscreen++ 2.2

I'm not sure why, but what happens is that Fullscreen++ literally "cuts" the resolution a little in windowed mode. I tested it by taking it off and on and the window is different.

You should be able to test this yourself fairly easily - of course I'm using the high res DLL.

Anyone knows why this happens? It's unfortunate because it would be perfect, the only thing this script misses is a fullscreen\windowed option. Of course, I'm not talking about a fullscreen that uses the PC res. but one that respects the chosen resolution and uses black bars. Fullscreen++ actually does that correctly, but windowed mode does not work properly right now.

Anyone?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
