Olympus Pack... We have lots of various resources for the others so they can wait... Olympus will be much more needed
this this thisI voted for the rtp style Dungeon pack, because I think this is the one a lot of people could and would use and I would buy myself.
Olympus pack
Description: A small pack to create the heavens and the underworld meant for the Olympian gods. Will include tiles to also create a small city or town, a few interior tiles here and there. No nature tiles.
Time period: Ancient Greece
Example of art: RPG Maker VX/Ace style (adds onto the default RTP).
ETA: 3-6 months
Which is why, whenever a new style is brought out, that pack will contain a lot more content so that you don't find yourself lacking anything. That is also why I proposed the idea (with more content) for the dungeon pack to follow the same art style as my newest pack. That way I can keep building and expanding (providing more resources) on this style and provide an alternate style to the default RTP.The thing with RTP style is that since a lot of resources follows that style, it's easier to mix and match the resources... Whenever something of a different style comes out, you cannot really mix and match it with the others since it just won't fit. So in a sense, RTP styled resources are more useful, unless the non-RTP pack can stand on it's own and is enough for your needs. Making more RTP styled resource of a different theme allows more diversity within a single game.
Everything besides the Fantasy Dungeon pack is made in the same RTP style RPG Maker uses by defaultYea, I voted for the Dungeon RTP style pack as well,it would be the most useful pack(I would buy that the second it goes live), as people could mix, and match, while if it was the others, you're limited to just the tiles from the pack(which doesn't help variety or versatility in mapping any).
Our store though, is mostly to provide different content to cater to the people who don't want a standard medieval fantasy RPG. I realize a dungeon pack would be most universally liked because the majority of games are a medieval fantasy dungeon crawler - but we can't ignore those that want to create other genresI like all your resource packs! But I think the most universally useful would be the dungeons pack, as the rest are tailored to specific games. Especially if they're really well done dungeons... personally I'd like to see less square walls, more rock falls, jutty-out-bits, caverns, etc.
The sprites for the Futuristic Tiles add-on would be enough to populate your world with. Probably around 50 unique sprites.Dungeon pack: Matching the RTP style makes resources easier to find and use with other resources. The futuristic one with RTP-styled sprites would be better than non-rtp style, unless you plan to release a large non-rtp spritepack. Plus, diversity in dungeons would be great besides this cave/mine/lava theme we often have!
Ok, well in that case, I would love the Dungeon RTP style pack the most, as it would allow even more variety to my mapping.Zoltor: Considering that it's Celianna's Futuristic pack in the store I think she knows exactly how well a futuristic pack would do financially. You don't have to explain her business to her, she's just asking what people, personally, are interested in. Answering the question with what you think would make everyone else buy stuff is defeating the whole point of the poll.
I did that for a year, time to create something again that the majority wantsI vote for whatever you'll have fun with the most, Cel. It takes so long to make a pack anyway, might as well have fun while you do it.![]()
