Seriously, I think it would be in everyone's interest to select a non-RTP pack. The dungeon pack sounds interesting too but I think that the fantasy dungeon pack would bring some new fresh air that is needed in the community.
Not *****ing on RTP I love this style but some more diversity at an affordable price wouldn't hurt.

What I would love to see even if it's not listed here is a dark fantasy themed graphics pack. It would be great to have something more "mature" in design without getting to the realistic looking of High-fantasy packs (which are awesome).

The thing with RTP style is that since a lot of resources follows that style, it's easier to mix and match the resources... Whenever something of a different style comes out, you cannot really mix and match it with the others since it just won't fit. So in a sense, RTP styled resources are more useful, unless the non-RTP pack can stand on it's own and is enough for your needs. Making more RTP styled resource of a different theme allows more diversity within a single game.

if we had much more artists, then a couple of them making different themed packs using a unique style can be a good and feasible endeavor... coz that will make production faster so we will have more of each style in a shorter time.

Yea, I voted for the Dungeon RTP style pack as well,it would be the most useful pack(I would buy that the second it goes live), as people could mix, and match, while if it was the others, you're limited to just the tiles from the pack(which doesn't help variety or versatility in mapping any).

the others are still RTP styled, it was emphasized on the dungeon one is because Cel placed 2 dungeon options in which one is not RTP styled...

for example:

Olympus pack

Description: A small pack to create the heavens and the underworld meant for the Olympian gods. Will include tiles to also create a small city or town, a few interior tiles here and there. No nature tiles.

Time period: Ancient Greece

Example of art: RPG Maker VX/Ace style (adds onto the default RTP).

ETA: 3-6 months

I like all your resource packs! But I think the most universally useful would be the dungeons pack, as the rest are tailored to specific games. Especially if they're really well done dungeons... personally I'd like to see less square walls, more rock falls, jutty-out-bits, caverns, etc.

Dungeon pack: Matching the RTP style makes resources easier to find and use with other resources. The futuristic one with RTP-styled sprites would be better than non-rtp style, unless you plan to release a large non-rtp spritepack. Plus, diversity in dungeons would be great besides this cave/mine/lava theme we often have!

Which is why, whenever a new style is brought out, that pack will contain a lot more content so that you don't find yourself lacking anything. That is also why I proposed the idea (with more content) for the dungeon pack to follow the same art style as my newest pack. That way I can keep building and expanding (providing more resources) on this style and provide an alternate style to the default RTP.
I do understand that people would like to have the RTP style more since that means more resources for them to mix and match, hence why everything else I mentioned will be done in the RTP style.

Everything besides the Fantasy Dungeon pack is made in the same RTP style RPG Maker uses by default :)

Our store though, is mostly to provide different content to cater to the people who don't want a standard medieval fantasy RPG. I realize a dungeon pack would be most universally liked because the majority of games are a medieval fantasy dungeon crawler - but we can't ignore those that want to create other genres :)

The sprites for the Futuristic Tiles add-on would be enough to populate your world with. Probably around 50 unique sprites.
Seeing the poll, I might end up fusing the weapon's pack with the dungeon pack together.

Horror. Horror. Horror.

If you did a horror pack that'd literally be the best thing ever.

To Celianna: Ok cool, but also versatility is important as well. Futuristic could be nice for games based around such, but It's so niche, that more people would be willing to buy/make use of it, if it was including in one of the bigger, more versatile packs(like the dungeon pack for instance)

The Olympus pack is actually nice, just compared to a pack like the Dungeon pack, it really stands no chance, so it would be a good idea to add a bunch of the things to the pack(like a ton of greek mythological battles, faces, and busts in a greekish style.

As for icons, Icons are always nice, and such, but It's very meh to have such as a stand alone resource pack, It's strongly advised you throw that in another pack instead of making it as its own resource pack.

Zoltor: Considering that it's Celianna's Futuristic pack in the store I think she knows exactly how well a futuristic pack would do financially. You don't have to explain her business to her, she's just asking what people, personally, are interested in. Answering the question with what you think would make everyone else buy stuff is defeating the whole point of the poll.

Ok, well in that case, I would love the Dungeon RTP style pack the most, as it would allow even more variety to my mapping.

I vote for whatever you'll have fun with the most, Cel. It takes so long to make a pack anyway, might as well have fun while you do it. :)
I did that for a year, time to create something again that the majority wants :p

I love the art style you used for the farm tiles so I'd like to see any pack with more of that style.

I vote for the WEAPONS PACK. It's so hard to find icons for commercial use...

And hey, it even fits with non-rtp styles, so this will be a more universal pack.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving!
