This is what I'm referring to, in case you didn't know:

http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/a/graphics/nightmare-land-resource-pack

I'm not sure if this quite constitutes a "request", per say, but I thought this was probably the best place to put it. I don't know if the style that this is made in has a name, but I really like it and was wondering if anyone knew of or had tiles/sprites/other resources that don't look out of place when used with it. I'm not looking for anything in particular -- just a few things to add on to what this pack gives you.

Thanks!

I did a little searching since I'm trying to make a dark carnival themed game myself. Here's what I've come up with so far:

This thread has some good links to other places with carnival resources

Here are some carnival rides and tiles

In this thread GrandmaDeb's link has merry go rounds, teacup ride, etc.

Here are some more links, with prize booths and a strength tester

Some more links with fireworks, fountains, etc.

Vehixographia's Halloween Pack has a few carnival-ish things (I had to wayback their forum post since their terms prohibit reposting the pack, you can download it if you un-wayback the mediafire link)

Other than that there aren't very many explicitly carnival resources out there. If anyone else has some I'd be interested as well.

This is amazing! Thank you so much!

I don't really have anything to add to what you posted for your game, sorry!

Does anyone know about the sprite sizes for the characters (seen in the link in the op)? Anyone know anything in this style (I was looking for some similarly-sized background actors, no facesets needed)?

RMMV
Do these sprites come with the set? It's really hard to say just looking at the screenshots, but I'd guess they are 2 tiles tall. Maybe just 1.5.

Ace standard is 32x32. So 1.5 times tall would be 48, 2x tall would be 64. Just finding sprites that tall though will not ensure that they look compatible.

So this is me in the future and I want to know if there are any good title screen recorces (Sorry for the spelling) that you can get?
My attempts are not... the best. Below is the photo I was trying to use.... I want to know if there is a good background for that. The purple is the empty space color.
There is another pic, a screen shot of the game so far.
And how do you do the character in the third photo?

The set's character grid is divided at 32x64 per Actor.

The characters themselves range around 24x40(for the shortest character) to 32x48 (for the tallest character)..

[mod]Tarzanthecat, please do not necropost or hijack someone else's thread. If you have a resource request you need to start a thread of your own. If you want help creating your own resources it belongs in Resource Support.[/mod]

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
