Respawn Feature

Hello,  I an interested in a Respawn function. 

What I am looking to do is have the party respawn at the most recent save point or dungeon entrance if they die.  Rather than "relaoding a save" I want the player to keep any progress they made up until they died.

Basically when the party gets wiped, I want the party to teleport to the most recent respawn location, fully restored.  Also a screen that appears before the respawn that asks if the player wants to respawn, reload or quit would be an exellent addition but not required.

You basically want something like dq8? if you die u get teleported to the last inn visited? You can do that without a script, just a common event, i did it in vx ace but i ddn't have it anymore, i will try to do it again and post it when i have time if you need. If i remember right the logic is :

You have a variable name it LastSavePosition for now, that is being setted with x and y every time you save, when you die instead of running the gameOverScene you run a common event that heal all your party and telepot to the variable LastSavePosition (maybe u have to use 2 var oone for x and one for y) and if you want take out some money to the party.

Interesting.  I didn't even think it would be possible without scripts.  I start experimenting.  Thanks for the info

I attempted to do this but I couldn't figure out how to change or even access the gameOverScene.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
