I listened to a bunch of tracks, I'll try to listen to more later, but here's the feedback, since some of you guys asked for it:
Interesting start, big fan of the strings, drums and bass, they all have good synergy together.
Would make a good theme for mountain or heavy exploration based maps. Mix quality is pretty good as well.
I think it would also work well for very specific cutscenes or as a character's theme.
Once again a track with great buildup, and once it gets going, it really gets immersive. I can imagine a myriad of possible uses for this track.
Albeit it offers a decent mix, I find the general melody and rhythm really flat and unexciting.
I don't think it would add a lot to a scene when compared to other dramatic tracks around, and it wouldn't make a good battle theme as it is right now.
Start is strong, but the build up is entirely broken by a really boring first verse, and there's nothing really memorable about it.
Overall, Inquistion and Lonesome Road are great, good job, however, Rising Fire...When put against those two tracks, it just doesn't live up to them.
I think the song would improve greatly with a couple revisions to the verse sections, they really lack musicality atm.
Oh and once again, great job with your mixing all around, some of the best I heard today.
I think the whole structure this loop follows could be described as abrupt, albeit if refined, it could serve as a good castle/bustling town theme, but not right now as it is.
Mixing needs a lot of work in this one, everything is fighting against each other, and the result is a really muffled piece where no instrument stands out even when it is supposed to stand out.
This loop brings a pretty immersive melody all around. I think it would be great for temples, some japanesed themed maps perhaps. Once again, mixing needs work though, but still a good loop.
Beyond what Rings True:
Pretty good. Builds interest, the blend of instruments is right, and the pacing of the song is great to serve a hefty amount of purposes.
Fight to defend:
Rather similar to Beyond, but still a good adition. A functional track which should be useful for cutscenes and battles alike indeed.
Good opener rhythm, but The lead synth which soon kicks in really unexciting, and all which follows suffers from the same fate.(over the same reason)
Mixing was pretty decent for the 3 tracks, but I feel they all follow the same motif, I am not sure if this is intended or not.
@Elements - cheers man. Yeah, I'm not too keen on the whole techno-rocky battle theme stuff, so it was a little shot in the dark on my end. Thanks for the critique though, will bear than in mind the next time I go down that road.
