REvolve The Awakening (ACT 1)
I made this game demo about 3 years ago heavily influensed by fairytail(the anime) at the time and im thinking about resuming it
so check it out, i hope you guys enjoy it and i look forward to your feedback
Synopsis: The game is set at Black Arrow City in 1776 in a fantasy world that at the time is ravaged by demons and the humans that they recently discovered the power of magic are trying to counter them by creating 2 magical guilds the Demon Slayers and the Lightbringers.You take the role of Iyoku an up and coming mage part of the Demon Slayer Guild that has a certain problem with his inner demon(major requirement for any demon slayer mage)
Gameplay: The game is a classic 2D RPG that features cutscenes, an advance magic system that if you take heavy damage you can cast a special guild spell, achievements that gives you "darkscore"(kinda buggy) , puzzles, random mob battles as you walk and great boss battles also its heavy quest based and story based

RGSS installed(i already include it in the rar))

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
