Thank you,

I have to give you props for your tutorial series. I currently have an associates degree in programming. While i have learned several languages, and unfortunately am out of practice, This is not only a great series to learn a new one it also is great enough to be a refresher in programming in general. Your tutorials are almost as good as going to a school for programming. <insert applause here>. I am currently on tutorial 17 and cant wait to see more. I have viewed a lot of video tutorials and your are well done and easy to listen to. please keep up the great work. there arn't enough people like you.

I decided to give this series a watch to learn how the intermediate and advanced RGSS3 stuff works (and learn some Ruby by proxy). I highly recommend that everyone who is interested in scripting should work their way through this video series. Start from video one, even if you already have programming experience like I did. You might still learn a couple of interesting tidbits, which may come in handy later.

DiamondandPlatinum3, thanks a lot for this fantastic series! It's been an immensely helpful learning tool, with everything well-explained and illustrated through your examples. You've turned me from hesitant dabbler to confident novice, and I'm sure that once I reach the end of this series I'll be even better still!

Hi all, thanks for the support.
I'm not an active user any longer, and have no current plans to make any further tutorial series.

I just wanted to mention that you should take everything I say in regards to programming in general in these videos with a grain of salt.
I created these videos when I was first getting started in scripting myself. Mostly as a tool to force myself to learn the engine and become a better scripter (if you can explain something to others in an easy to understand way then you yourself have become competent in that field).

I am older, wiser, and have far more experience coding in a variety of programming languages these days (thanks to RPG Maker for providing that passion) to understand that some of the things I thought I knew when I was younger (and made these videos) were either not entirely true or blatantly false (meaning I had a different understanding of how it worked).

If you are someone who is still invested in RPG Maker VX Ace (over MV), then, yes, these tutorials may help you achieve your aim. I am still confident that my explanations of the engine and how things work there are up to par. However if you wish to learn the intricacies behind coding and how everything works. Please don't use these tutorial videos as a reference.

Thanks everyone.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
