I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to the RPGMaker series. What can't be done with some eventing and tricks can be fixed with Ruby scripting. My attempts always falling short for various reasons, but the community's always there doing great things and being quite helpful to each other - so there's that!

Other than making certain obscure effects/states more accessible ("Gravity" based spells and Reflection was tricky in XP) for non-scripters, my only real desire in a new Maker would be more RTP content. Especially monsters. 2k3 I hear had a lot, ranging from mundane animals like crocs and giant frogs to fantasy/mythology monsters like the phoenix and Leviathan, dragonkin of all kinds... XP had a good selection, a sea serpent, several dragons... But after XP it seems Enterbrain decided on going with "Quality over Quantity"  -  less monsters but very detailed ones. Awesome Mimic, cute Raptor (snake), but no sea serpents. I think it lacked a gryphon too. VXAce continued with the smaller but detailed monster lineup, which is all well and good but I really would like more variety ya know? As a minor note, the high-detail monsters kind of clashed with the stylized and vibrant look of the tilesets heh. 2k3 being released internationally's unlikely, but its collection of monsters being released as DLC would be awesome - especially for people utilizing side-view scripts (Less so for other systems though I wager)

A 3D maker? Heh, 3D sounds cool and all, but really there's no point in turning RPGMaker into one. I know what Unity's like, and while it's got a good content store behind it, it's not as simple and acessible as the RM series - not by a longshot. If you wanted a full-3D system, CryEngine, Unity, and Unreal are right over there.
Yeah, there is no point in making one, it just makes making rgss4 harder and would require so much more work. And the tile amount would be sadly, very limited if still want to be around 200-100 mb. A 3d maker should be 2D or 2.5D, at most if you want atleast somewhat 3D game.

Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
