RGSSx Internet Manager v1.0.0 - March 31st, 2014
Introduction
The internet manager script allows a developer to download data directly from the internet. The included ruby portion of the data (it is split between ruby script and C++ DLL) will allow script developers to include the location of a versions file so that the information can be compared to in order to see if any updates are available.
Features
- Download any internet resource available through regular HTTP (HTTPS Support is not currently included, no plans to include it are currently in the works)
- Use it with any RGSS Version! !!NOTE: The ruby script provided has only been tested on RPG Maker VX Ace, and is highly unlikely to function elsewhere!!
- Dropbox is supported under certain conditions (getting this to work is explained at the website)
Screenshots
Note: This is a view of the C++ running, but Ruby functions similarly.
How to Use
This script is plug-n-play, with multiple configuration options.
