RGSSx Internet Manager v1.0.0 - March 31st, 2014

Introduction

The internet manager script allows a developer to download data directly from the internet. The included ruby portion of the data (it is split between ruby script and C++ DLL) will allow script developers to include the location of a versions file so that the information can be compared to in order to see if any updates are available.

Features

- Download any internet resource available through regular HTTP (HTTPS Support is not currently included, no plans to include it are currently in the works)

- Use it with any RGSS Version! !!NOTE: The ruby script provided has only been tested on RPG Maker VX Ace, and is highly unlikely to function elsewhere!!

- Dropbox is supported under certain conditions (getting this to work is explained at the website)

Screenshots

Note: This is a view of the C++ running, but Ruby functions similarly.

How to Use

This script is plug-n-play, with multiple configuration options.

Demo

No demo is currently available for this script.

This is my favorite April Fools joke so far! (Because of the Zelda reference)

Thanks, I spent a few hours finishing it up today after I thought of it. But to spoil the surprise, this is actually in development. The info here isn't actually all a joke, it is intended to be out with the next ReStaff release (May 2014), so dont give up all hope on me. I'm glad you enjoyed the joke, though :)

Well then I can't wait to see it! It sounds useful, I just noticed something about the script text image... a Patrick slides up and down.

The page is getting an actual 404? Mine still goes through to the page. It's supposed to look like this.

Not funny. -_-

People like me have been hunting all over the damned net for a fully functioning script like this. Thanks for getting my hopes up rear end in a top hat.

It was funny, actually, and it is in development. It will be out eventually, if you'd just wait nicely.

At least I'm a fancy rear end for the joke.

Ew, why does my blogpost on the rpgmaker.net site look like a garbled mess? Are html codes disabled or something?
I feel that I should cut down on my order queue so I can get some more time for my projects, its been quite a longggg while since I worked on them LOL
