Rhythm Heaven Fever Script Request

Hi everyone. I'm looking for an rpg maker vx ace script. Now heres what a really need. Im trying to make a game where you push buttons in time with music and earn points if you push the button at the right time. Im not sure if this is possible in eventing, but a script would so much better. Heres a you tube video of something i would like. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

That is quite tricky, as im not sure how to make a .sm file. Is there any other options?
