Hey everyone!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Ekaterina (as Empress) Stadnikova (the nearest English equivalent will be Shepard).
In my country (Russian Federation) I am a professional writer. In addition, I wrote scripts for two computer games:
Disciples III Resurrection & Disciples III Reincarnation.
If by some lucky chance, you have played these games and have questions - ask.
THE GAME
Rising Storm - it's an RPG game with delicate elements of economic strategy. Events unfold in the original universe, intersecting with many of my published books, if not all.
A distant and mysterious world inhabited by many races (peaceful and not so) was disturbed by the invasion of a more advanced civilization. The aliens easily gained trust and spread their influence to all continents and nations.
But the idyll did not last forever. The aliens used strange tools. "Human" they called it and never showed anyone or shared.
What was the horror when it became clear that the "human" is not a mindless tools, but thinking and feeling intelligent species! Liberated from slavery human beings, called their saviors strange word "elves." The ridiculous word eventually caught on.
Along with the freed slaves came the knowledge of the alien plans. They were going to rid the land of all natural resources, leaving behind a lifeless desert and move to devastate the next vulnerable world.
And then a war broke out. The war in which there could be no winner only loss.
Finally, Aves (Falcon folk) gathered for a Hopeless Approach. They went to assault the main citadel of aliens. Every single one. And every single one of them disappeared.
That's what the books say. Whether it was a monstrous victory or a glorious defeat, no one knows. Only since then no alien has been seen in the heavens above the world. No one could even get close to the ruins of the citadel. A dense barrier of unknown nature killed anyone who tried to pass outside. And from the inside no one came.
The world sighed peacefully. The remaining humans had settled there where once ruled their disappeared saviors. And the aliens - Drakins - became part of the tales.

This is where our story begins.

FEATURES
> Despite the fact that the game provides the possibility of romantic interests to each other for the characters, it is not mandatory. At the start of the game, you can choose to complete the game without involving the main character in any relationship other than friendship.
> Battles are also not imposed on anyone. At any time, you can enter the narrative mode, where all the battles are automatically counted as victories. However, you will not receive experience for battles.
> No sudden battles every N steps on the map. If you are suddenly attacked, it is only at the behest of the plot, and not because you have long loitered and looked at the environment.
> Simple puzzle-style HIDDEN OBJECT. And some other mini-games to dilute the plot and make some tireless variety. On each screen you will find no more than 10 items.
> As well as the plot, dialogues and characters written by a professional
PITFALLS
The language I work in - is Russian. There's no way I can compare my rusty English to my Russian. For a solid translation, from which teenagers will not cry with laughter, and adults will not be indignant - I need money. In my country, creative people tend to be poor. I am no exception.
Voice acting would add a million points of charm to the game, but I definitely don't have any money for voice acting.
I'm working on the project alone... solo. Sometimes I get help from a professional programmer, sometimes I ask the community. The music is written by folk group Chorus. But mostly it's a one-on-one fight. Just me and the project.
And if you have a little warmth and support for me, it will make my days brighter.
EXAMPLES
These are only to give an idea of what the visuals will be like.
NO public demo yet

ATTENTION
Yes, I'm still here. At the moment, the prologue of the Game is completely ready. This is about an hour and a half of gameplay. The project is planned large. Works are conducted without breaks and days off.
