Hello!
I'd like to use RM2k and RM2k3 chipsets and charactersets for my MV project, and by straining the forum search I've come across a few solutions to the issues that come with that. I've worked a lot with the RM2K but I'm absolutely new to MV (or basically any newer RPG-Maker), so I was quite surprised to see how chipsets are parted and much larger now. Now I can clearly recognize the similarities between RM2k and RMMV ressources, but scaling RM2k chipsets to RMMV tilesets looks like a real hassle.
The biggest problem I see are the auto/animated tiles - is there a template to help with the conversion or are there guidelines? And regarding the other tiles - is it simply a matter of upscaling the RM2k tiles by a couple hundred % and saving them in a similar format to the standard MV resources?
For any legal issues - I own a copy of the RM2k, 2k3 and MV!
