Hello makers!

I've realized earlier today that my passive skills were still showing up in the battles. So I'd like to know if there's a plugin that could allow me to hide a skill type (in that case, Passives) in battles.

No screenshot required, I guess? Only remove the skill type from battles.

Thanks and have a good day!  :)

Oh well, I meant a skill that when it is learned, it gives a passive bonus. It isn't used in menus or fights.

Have you tried setting the skill type to none?

If you're using YEP Skill Core just add the tags <hide in battle>
If you don't want them to be displayed in field as well add <hide in field>

Next time at least add the name of the plugin, plz

I know it's possible to hide individual skills. But I also use the Yanfly Skill Learn plugin, and I want that all the passives are in there. So this is why I precisely need to hide the skill type.

If you do that you won't be able to check them after learning.

How to make Passive Skills that won't show up using Yanfly Skill Learn System:

These passive skills give stat/param bonuses eg + 100 Max HP or + 10 Attack. They also don't refresh meaning you buy them once and that's it.

Almost everything is done in the note tags, however set your skill type to none.

in the note tags place this:

<Learn Cost Eval>

user.addParam(x,y)

</Learn Cost Eval>

where x is one of the numbers 0 - 7 and represent:

0 - Max HP

1- Max MP

2- Attack

3- Defense

4-Magic Attack

5 - Magic Defense

6- Agility

7-Luck

and y is how much you want to add.

This is how my test passive looks:

@Zarsla it works indeed as long as he keep some stuff simpler.

That's all good stuff, but as I said, I want the passives to be in a skillt type called "Passives", and that they are shown in the skills menu in the mentionned category, but in battle the whole category don't appear at all. It was possible in RMVX Ace, and I really miss this.

Oh, that's exactly what I needed!

Though now I'm too tired to try it now, I'll test it tommorow and give news then. Thanks!

I don't know what I do wrong, but Hime's script won't work for me... http://imgur.com/ByrUsxW

As for Victor's one, seems to be working all right! Thanks to both of you, I really appreciate it!

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
