[RMMV] Question about Yanfly's Skill Core HP use

Hello RPG Maker Forums,

I had a question about Yanfly's Skill Core plugin, and in particular a skill associated with it.

This new plugin allows you to use your own life as a component for skills. While that is awesome, I was wondering...

Can you use other party members' health for your own skills?   BD  Muhahaha. 

There is an evil character in the party that verbally abuses the other party members, and is in general a nickname for Richard. I figure that it would be in character for him to use other party members' health in a skill or two, just to add a sort of dynamic in addition to the ability to use your own health.

I'm not sure why it says it's the Molten Giant spell, but Yanfly has a Tips and Tricks for a spell similar to what you're looking for. It's called Sacrificial Bolt (and is in the series on YouTube) that kills one of the user's allies and deals damage based on the sacrificed ally's stats (I think it's based on current HP and ATK? Not 100% certain, though). I'm certain you could find a way to adapt it to just dealing damage, though :)


By the way, if you click on the icon in the top-left hand corner of the video (it looks like three lines with the play sign in the bottom right of them), the correct video is number 27

Yes you could use other actors health, but to do this, you need to use the lunatic modes:


<Custom Requirement> <\Custom Requirement>


// This sets up any custom cost requirements.


<Custom Execution><\Custom Execution>



//This is what runs when the skill is used, so for example if this is set cost 5 of Actor 3 HP, this is where you put the code, to make Actor 3 lose 5 of thier HP.


<Cost Display Eval></Cost Display Eval>


//This is any code you need to run before a custom cost is displayed, for example you want variable 5 to say it's a numbet between 100-1000. This is where you put that code.


<Custom Cost Display></Custom Cost Display>


//This is the cost tgat is shown on the skill, it takes in text codes.


All of this is on the help file of the skill core plugin.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
