Hey everyone,

When I pause the game to enter the menu (not during battle), I can obviously check out my Item and Skill tabs just fine. Is there a way to rearrange/reorder the items listed, and/or the key items listed, and/or the skills learned? (Right now, any item or key item or skill just has the typical Use/Cancel options, but no Switch/Rearrange/Reorder options.) I'd imagine some players may want their most common items, key items, or skills to be higher up on their respective lists for battles or for menu selection. Thanks!

I have a plugin that sorts them alphabetically and by category, but I guess that's not quite what you want...?

I'm sure allowing the player to rearrange them would be possible but it would also require a plugin. Since the item list sorts by ID if I understand correctly, it would need to disable that as well.

When you say that the item list sorts by ID, does that mean it sorts by the order in which I create the items (like item 0001 would be first on the list, if the player has it, and then 0002, and then 0003, etc.)? I was under the impression that the first item obtained would always remain as first on the in-game item list (until used up), and then the second item obtained would be second on the list, etc., that way the item list would always have the newly-obtained items at the end of the list, as opposed to the newly-obtained items fitting into potential spaces in the middle of the list for seemingly arbitrary reasons (arbitrary to the player, even though behind the scenes, the game creator would know that the automatic reordering of the items is based on the order in which those items were invented).

I suppose the automatic sorting by ID number (order created by the game creator) would make sense though, as I could purposely invent all healing items first so that they're eventually stored at the top of the player's item list, regardless of where they're found, etc. I guess this is what actually happens, so that at least I have some control over what the player's item list will look like?

Yes, that's what I mean - the order of the items in the database is the order they'll appear in the menu.

Moved to Plugin Requests since this can't be done without a plugin.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
