So, it can be used for software licensing/DRM for commercial RMMV games?
Anyone has any experience with it? How was it?

RMMV just came out yesterday. I believe it'll be at least 6 months before anyone comes up with an RMMV commercial game.

Well, It's some sort of like DRM/software passport solution, which is, at one point, most commercial devs are going to look into it.

If you are making a game from scratch, it maybe true, but my current project "Wanda" is near completion and use as little extra script as possible. I think it can be ported easily to MV. But I'm just looking for the possibilities right now. :)

Doesn't have to be if you had an Ace game near completion and port it over..
Ditto!

I've had a brief look at it.  it seems there are two basic types, free and paid.

Free is probably very close to the encryption that Ace had, and is fine for non commercial games.

The paid version has higher level encryption, though, as we know, people can still hack at that level.  I couldn't see from the web site what (if anything) it added to the usual installers, or, indeed, if you need an installer as well as this, so that would be an aspect you would need to check out.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
