RMMZ on Win11?

Has anyone got RMMZ to run on a Win11 PC / laptop?

If so, have anyone suffered any issues with it (like lagging)?

I wanna ask this because I wanna migrate all of my game dev processes to a new laptop which runs on Win11...

I have been using Win11 Home version on my laptop for I don't know how long. I don't pay attention, but I just checked and that is what I am using.

I haven't had any problems.

However, it is strange that when I am working in MZ I get random FPS messages that pop up and they are extremely low. Like 1 FPS and such. But I have no idea what that really means or if it is any issue.

When I play test my projects there doesn't seem to be a problem and I haven't had any problems while working on projects.

I have no idea if that helps or not, but thought I would let you know my experience so far.

Random FPS warning pop-ups? Are there any screenshots for that?

FYI, until I return home, I will check my laptop's Win11 version...

I will try to catch one the next time it happens. I see them and I don't pay enough attention to know exactly when they pop up. I tried to turn them off, but I couldn't figure that out.

EDIT: Ok, so I couldn't get a screenshot because the FPS indicator is super tiny on the screen and you can hardly see it. I played around and I noticed that when I exit an event that I have opened, the FPS indicator pops up on the side (very small) and it is all over the place. In the short little test I did it was 1, 3, 5, 23, 6, etc.

Now, when I playtested my project, the FPS was at 144 FPS.

I have no idea what any of this means.

However, if it would help you, you could check out some of my most recent tutorials on my YouTube channel linked below. I would think the FPS would pop up in those and you can see how my MZ performs in the videos and watch for anything that you might think is concerning.

Maybe someone else will be able to answer this better for you.

Will RMMZ (and to a greater extent EVERY Steam RM versions (MV, VXA, 2k3) run well on that?

Why do you worry that a specific version/build of an operating system will affect the software? You've a thread full of people saying that MZ runs fine on Windows 11

It also runs fine for me, but I've spent little bits of time to test things, I'm not designing my project in MZ.

MV works absolutely fine.

I've had some warnings pop up when I test things in VXA, but I haven't actually tried to resolve them.

It should go without saying that as you look at older and older software, you should have greater expectations of coming across issues with newer operating systems.

OK then.

However, a user on a Discord I joined said MV lags when on Win11.

Is that always the case? Their version is by the way this:
