Hi, I'm making a game which puts a lot of emphasis on in-game items. Basically it's a puzzle-solving game where the story progresses when the player finds new items to unlock content (kind of like in The Witch's House where the player finds items to help them escape the level).
I was wondering if it's possible to create a special item menu where a picture or an icon of the item is displayed on top and the item description is at the bottom, and the left and right keys are used to browse through all items (please see attachment).
The reason why I put the description in the same window as the item picture/icon is because I'd like to write long descriptions under some of the items (like 4-5 lines), but if the separated description window can contain that much information it's okay too.
Since I have little to no knowledge in scripting, I have no idea how difficult this is going to be. So I'm mostly asking this out of curiosity of this being possible. I'd really like this to be do-able, but if it's too difficult or too complex then it's okay, I'll use another menu system instead.
