Everybody has their own opinions about RNG, some think that things like damage variance, state rates and counteraatack chances bring a game to life, others demand RNG to be wiped out from existence, as winning or losing because of luck destroys the experience.
As a personal opinion, I feel that if an any moment, I'm not missing or evading an attack with that 5% chance, or scoring a critical hit with the small 4% of the default, the RPG is missing something.
What do you think about RNG? Does it enhance a game or not? How you can justify it?
