About the game
Personaly I like Anciant Rome and I like the games movies and seriees from that age.
The only thing I was miss a game where I can move freely and play not just as a soldier or a warlord
but as a simple person.
Play as a trader or worker down at the streets of Rome.
Fight againts the galls if I'd like to or gain power in the Capitoleum.
Thats why I create this game.
In this game you can chose your path to the goal what you decide.
You can be a wealthy trader or a brave soldier or an officer of Rome.
The game have a storyline but partly open world and sandbox too.
You can chose bethween good and evil lawful and criminal gameplay.
This will be non-commercial game. I create for fun.

Story
The begining
Lucius Tiberius after arrived to his home his father Lucius Quintus told him about the situation of his family.
After Lucius Quintus died in a raid Tiberius have to escape from the family estate.
After he arrived to Tarquinii the adventure begin.
Survive, Learn & Raise
As Tiberius discover Tarquinii the people and story of this town.
He start gether knowlage learn more skills and gain power to protect hisself.
After investigation about a near island Artemisia he learn new professionals and
liberate the island from the bandits.
The questor of Tarquinii Gratianus grand him the rank of Capite Cansi (low civilian rank).
After Tiberius got the right to buy houses and small estates he bought a house at Tarquinii
and after hard work he bought few smaller farm and mine.

With the rank Capite Cansi Tiberius had the right to enter to Rome city.
After he arrived to Aventinus he noticed the city is full of fear and crime.
After Tiberius meet with the plebs (lowest citizen rank) he understand
there are several layer of people live in rome.
Tiberius took works and crafted items to sell and gain more wealth.
He meet with Pontius Balbius the impoverished Patrician (noble rank).
After Tiberius gain friendship with Pontius Balbius he admit Tiberius
as his rightful brother in the eyes of law.
From this time Pontius Tiberius had Patrician rank and chance
to start politics career.
Pontius Tiberius was know to start politics career he must
gain renown and the best way is to join the army.
The war of Gaul
After Pontius Tiberius joined the army he trained well.
In the training he leaned how to use the tactics
new weapont and skills.
After the training a long marching begun
to the Gaul land.
Under the command of Gaius Julius Cesar they
attacked the Gaul towns one by one and took
loot money and slaves.
Pontius Tiberius fought well he gained rank.
and he commanded for more and more soldiare.
When Gaius Julius Cesar conquested Gaul in 51 BC
Pontius Tiberius war finaly has over.
After a long traver he arived to Rome with is all
acquired wealth from Gaul.
The Capitolium
After Pontius Tiberius arrived to Rome
the plebs was welcome him and the heroes of the war.
With the wealth what Pontius Tiberius gethered he
bought votes to gain access to the Capitolium.
With his new name he was able to speak with
anyone without the other patricians know
who is he.

This is the Italy map where you can travel to one place to another.
I'll try to update this map as must as I can.
Features
Storyline: The game have a main story line but after the first rank gained it will not force
the player to follow. The player can lose hisself/herself in the endles streets of Rome
or in the military campaign or as a cook in a far farming estate.
The main story line will always there to continue.
Renown system: The game (will) have two renown system.
To gain civilian renown system you can complite quests help for the people.
If you hurt the citizens of Rome or make criminal acts you lose from this renown.
This renown will show you are a lawful player or a criminal.
If your civilian renown drop below -100 you will be outlaw and if the guards/soldiers catch you
you will go to the colosseum as gladiator to fight until the death.
The military renown exchange the civilian renown when you join the army.
The military renown work inversely as the civilian renown.
You must be a loyal soldier of the Republic of Rome to rize that renown.
No metter what your commander whant you to do you must do or you lose renown.
It can be a raid againts a civilian village or to kill innocent people.
When you finish the military campaign your military renown will automaticly att to your civilian renown.
Rank system: The game have three rank (at now).
Plebs: lowest rank right where you begin the adventure. Plebs can do a realy few thing
can accept works and quests and they can move freely outside Rome.
Capite Cansi: Censi can buy houses and small estates/farm lands/mines.
They can enter to rome.
Patrician: They can buy larger estates. Buy/sell slaves. Recruite mercenaries.
Patricians can start in political campaign.
Military campaign: After you earn the title Capite Censi you can join the army of Rome.
You can use your learned professions while you are in this campaign.
The recruiter office is at Rome (Aventinus). You can talt to the officer and after a long conversation
you can start your training. If you trained all nessesery fighting skill you join the army of
Gaius Julius Cesar and your war is start.
All long in the campaign you can do quests speak with the soldiers and citizens.
It's give an insight into the painfull life of the ruined lands.
You can loot the defeated peoples house. Get slaves from the enemy.
In the military campain you can gain military renown but read Renown system for more info.
Colosseum campaign: If you do criminal acts and the guards catch you they throw you in to the arena as a slave.
From that moment you must fight for your life. You can earn some money from each round and spend at the trader.
Traps animals and other gladiators will try to kill you but if you survive you will earn the love of the plebs.
If the plebs love raise the consul give you a wooden sword as the simbol of your freedom.
You will get back your rank money and all lands and houses.
This not mean you can be criminal now. If you break the law the guards can break your
wooden sword and drop you into the arena again.
Political campaign: In development

Professions: Tiberius can learn professions and craft many item food weapons armour.
Most of the professions are in pair. For example You must learn farming to cook meals.
Professions list (at now): Fishing, Farming, Cooking, Woodcutting, Carpentary, Mining, Smithing.
Planned profession: Jewel smithing.
All profession have a tool which is a key item and if the player look at the inventory he/she can see
which professional is learned and which is not yet in his/her inventory.
When you learn the cooking professional you will have one receipt.
The receipts are all around Italy. You have to find tham.
Crafting: While you travel around Tarquinii and Artemisia you can learn profesions while douing quests.
With some professions you can gether materials from the nature or from dungens-mines.
With other professions you can craft tham to products.

If you dont have house you can gent a room at any inn.
Always take care about your stamina status!

You can learn farming if you finish the quest east from Tarquinii.
This quest part of the cook quest.
You can experiance fast which tile give you the vegetables what you seek.
To pick apple and berry you must stand at the tree or the brush.
You can't pick apple at all map.
If you see
on the ground you can be sure there are apple trees.

When you buy a new farm estate you must sow the fields to harvest tham.
Woodcutting
After you finishing the carpentary quest at Artemisia you can cut trees and get logs and branches.
There is only one tree (right now) what you can cut.
You can't cut trees at all map. If there is a bunch of log on the map you can cut trees.
Mining
After you finishing the smith quest at Artemisia you can mine ores in dungens and mines.
You can mine ore coal and stone shards from each ore vein.
Cooking
After finishing the cook quest at Tarquinii you can use any oven or campfire to cook food.
You can find campfires in the wildenes.
You can get materials from Farming Fishing skill and hunting animals.
Spice and Salt can be buy from the traders.
Carpentary
You can learn carpentary at Artemisia if you finish a dangerous quest.
You can craft items at the workbench.
With woodcutting you can get log and banch.
With crafting you can make plank from log and shaft from branch.
Nail and ribbon from Smith crafting
Smithing
After you finish a dangerous quest at Artemisia you can smelt ores to ingots at any forge.
Each metal ore need a coal to smelt it. You can mine ores in mines and dungeons.
Use the metal ingots at the anvil to make materials weapons and armour,
Materials:
1 Iron Ingot = 5 Nails
1 Iron Ingot = 2 Ribbon

seek revange and try to survive.

Lucius Tiberius father who was keep up the family estate and sponsored his
son's study. Loyal supporter of Julius Cesar.
Gratianus
He is the questor of Tuscany. Glatianus is a peaceful wise man.
He can raise you up but he can send you to the arena too it depends how you act.

Finaly I filled up all the info what I wanted to share.
Maybe more info later.
2014.03.01.
I'm start creating the small estates.
These estates will be the places for each profession.
They can be buy/quest from NPC-s.
2014.03.02.
After a script issue I reuploaded the file.
The two small estate is finished but not yes accessable (next update).
Now I continue the first part of Rome city : Aventinus.

Aventinus map done, maybe some fixing later.
Im start makeing more NPC-s.
After I finish the most of the NPC-s I'll start the military campain....hahaa thats sounds fun.
New version of game will be out after I done the campain.
