Rope tile question

I want to be able to tie a very large boat to a stake in the beach. I want the rope to start high on the boat; then lower as it approaches the stake in the ground. I am having difficulty finding a way to accomplish this. Any advice or direction would be appreciated.

It would be nice to have it be tot and or lose.
