How do I rotate an event?

I have an single image of a saw blade graphic that I would like to make "spin".
I would like the event to rotate around an axis, default being the center of the event graphic.

I know I can load up gimp and create a sprite sheet for this effect.
(This is the method I am using for now).

What I need is to rotate the event (which could also be animated).

Also I am aware I could already do this with "pictures". However that is too limiting for what I need.

I'm willing to create a plugin for this if needed.

This is what the outcome would look like:

Thank you for reading. :)

You can do this with Yanfly's Doodads. There are tutorials on how to create a doodad with multiple frames to make it appear animated. All you'd have to do is set an event under it, or make it turn on and off with a switch. All depends on what you want to do with it.

That method still uses a source image to animate through multiple frames.
Currently there is no option to have an animated/non-animated doodads rotate via script.

What I need:
Rotate an event/doodad via script/plugin.

Edit:
Attempting this... it might work:

This plugin command does rotate the event:
rotation_event_id : ID : ROTATION_VALUE

However I'm still unsure how to make a constant 360 rotation. Any advice?

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
