I was wondering if there was any way to create a rougelike along the lines of The Binding Of Issac using RPG Maker VX Ace. I know it might require a lot of coding, but I imagine it will be worth my while.

RMMV
Anything is possible with the tenacity to achieve a goal, and lots of scripting. An ABS system would probably be a good place to start, possibly. Granted, I've not played many Roguelikes in my life.

Haven't played Binding, but you can certainly create roguelikes using Ace or MV or any recent Maker.  You can do it without coding, if you want to (though coding will make it easier and more fully-featured).  One Way Heroics is a popular example.

How would I go about doing this?

Ask in the VX Ace Help subforum for specifics about how to do something.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
