Hi,

I'm having an issue with Yanfly's Row Formation Script.

I set up a skill using http://yanfly.moe/2016/01/02/yep-54-row-formation/ which is only effective when the actor is in the back row. It is supposed to push the target (Scope: 1 Ally, Occasion: Battle Screen) back one row and pull the user forward one row.

This is the note tag.
<Row Only: 2>
<Push Back Target Row: 1>
<Pull Forward User Row: 1>
The Problem:
I've set Invocation Success to 100%.
And yet, about 20% of the time, the target isn't pushed back.

Any thoughts?

Did you set variance to 0? Only thing I can think of.

Hi Gilderoth,

I took a look at the Variance and it's not being used for this particular skill.
Any other thoughts?
It's still failing about 20% of the time.

Alliarys,

Just looked at your layout. Have you tried changing physical hit to certain hit? Physical hits still do a check against a target's agility, where as certain hits bypass all evasive stats. Let me know if it works!

Thanks!! It worked!! :)
(Well... at least it succeeded 5 out of 5 times, instead of the usual 3 out of 5 times)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...
