@KeyOfTwilight Wow! This is a demo? I suppose it must be unfinished because it's huge! You have the mortal world encounters, summoning, mining, crafting, farming, lore, an in-game economy system players must learn to git gud, a time system, original art, and more! The font isn't working quite right in all areas of the game and the writing has some typos/minor translation issues...but your English es muy bueno! You start off with some good hints about how the world works. I had difficulty figuring anything else out, so I blew my crystals on 4 summon cards, stowed 2 in the chest, then summoned a slime and went to the mortal world where we mined ore and took down jellyfish until...:LZYoops:...Slurry died:LZSteary:. Game over. Ah, well. I guess my biggest suggestion would be a tutorial system since your game is rather expansive. Walk the new player through one summons, one crafting, one farming, and one encounter with mining so they get the idea of how everything works. I do like a challenge, so I'll be playing again and again. Color me impressed! :LZYpraise:

I made a compilation of cutscenes for my game that I'm working on that the player can easily check out. The bandit cutscenes are for a side quest, the Pyre cutscene is early in the game when you first meet the other champions of the gods. The minigame is a digging QTE game that I'm working on so that the player can get money, items, and stat boosters based off the points they earn.

I really hope I understood the Cutscene section of the rules as I am really nervous about sharing I know some of the bandit dialogue is clunky.:kaoeh:

These maps are part of not really a "game" in the technical sense, but more of a resource project for the community. It's called Sorceria Open. Basically, I'm hosting a site where everyone can donate maps that can be used by anyone, royalty free. For more details you can head here:



This project (concept, website, and MV project file) was made this past week. Some of the maps used were from older games, but they were heavily modified so for all intents and purposes they are new maps. Regardless, they are now public domain property that anyone can use. Have fun with them!

Port Phobos the actual game demo is up! It's still a little rough around the edges, but I'm super happy to have gotten a full demo up this time around! Even including @mjshi 's card match game (that is such a neat plugin!)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
