No. Anyone that finishes is a winner! Of course, we encourage you to try your best, but we won't be judging to see who has the best project. Will there be like... Who has the best game or anything like that? :3

Sure, go for it.I'll see if I can throw a free resource out there too (if that's allowed?)
(Or maybe I'll make a pie... who knows?)
Even if your project is free, if the song is copyrighted, you have to go by their terms. For most songs, this means you can't use it without the artist's permission (which often costs quite a bit of money). If you're not sure, it's safer to go with a song you know you have permission for (such as a BGM theme composed by someone on the forums, or one of the DLC packs). Can i use a part of a song in my project (like it's not commercial i think it's possible) ?
Thanks to you matters!
(The projet is the game for the contest!)
The point of this challenge wasn't to see who does best under pressure or who's capable of producing the best game ever in a month. That's what IGMC is for - and it has appropriately large prizes. Birthday Bash is more of a personal challenge for people to practice development, to finish a game and to get their name out there a little. It's about finding the value in the process, not the finish line. If that sounds boring or lame to you and you'd rather just make a crap game to get a free something, I can't stop you. But you're wasting an opportunity in doing so.I am not going to lie, this is very dissapointing. You said quality over quantity, but what does it matter if I win regardless if I spend 50 hours to make the game as opossed to 1 hour?
Thank you, i will do my best so!Even if your project is free, if the song is copyrighted, you have to go by their terms. For most songs, this means you can't use it without the artist's permission (which often costs quite a bit of money). Sure.can i participate?
Agreed, had more trouble posting a thread, then working on my game. It's hardest to make a thread than a game!
Same thoughts of me.Happy Birthday RPGM! I've been meaning to create a proper RPGM game this year and the birthday bash seems like the perfect way to start!![]()
