I got this idea from NickMakesGames's Secret Santa thread but also due to the fact that this thread works for us authors on FictionPress, why not try it on games?
Bring your games here, completed, or still in development. The rules are simple:
1) Post with what you want your game to be if you're chosen.
2) Discuss the game of the week. Each post gets you 1 point.
3) As the game of the week's host, post discussion questions you would like answered for your game, as discussion questions get you 2 points.
4) The game must be made with a current RPG Maker for the PC (do note that some people do not have all the RPG Makers, so try to make it RTP free).
5) Keep it civilized and no flaming people on their games. This is to get people plays and critiques for their games. This'll let them know if they're doing a great job or if there are areas they need to work on.
6) Starting next Wednesday night, I will randomly post the first game of the week. Each person gets their game spotlighted for a whole week. Then they must graciously hand the reins off to the next pick.
Here's how the system works. As stated above, just randomly discussing questions gets you 1 point. Answering discussion questions set by the game's author gets you 2 points each post. Try to keep the author's discussion questions in one post if possible (author's try to post all discussion questions in one post. The exception to this rule is, you can post discussion questions on random days as well, but each post must contain a minimum of 3 questions, and they may be answered in separate posts as posted by the week's game author). Then I go through and tally up the points of the week, add up each person's total points, then I take the weekly total and subtract each author's total for that week from the weekly total, until I reach zero. Whoever gets the total to reach 0 is chosen, and their points are reset to 0.
So start messaging me and I'll add your name to the OP with your game. Hopefully, this'll bring some attention to your hard work.
Remember: Your game does not have to be completed, but please, in your submission, specify whether the game is completed or not.
