RPG Maker FES DLC?

Hello!
I bought the RPG Maker DS+ pack and the sci-fi expansion a while ago. I had no idea it was the RTP for RPG Maker FES.
After I figured this out, I googled the OG game, and I saw on the website that it had additional DLC.
The RPG Maker website doesn't offer this DLC. Is there any way to purchase/attain it?

let's start with correcting several mistakes here.

bought the RPG Maker DS+ pack and the sci-fi expansion a while ago. I had no idea it was the RTP for RPG Maker FES.

The DS/DS+ packs never had anything to do with RPG Maker FES. They were reworks in the style of RPG Maker DS, which was the handheld one or two generations before the FES,

Second, they were NOT ports of the DS-RTP, they were made from scratch to look like the DS style.
The reason was that the formats used in the DS-version were so much different that any transfer would have been more quality loss and more work to get right than make a new set from scratch.

Third, while in Japan the console and the computer RMs are handled by the same company, internationally only the computer RMs are handled by Degica/Komodo, the consolve versions are handled by a different distributor. And Both Degica and the other company (don't remember the name) have their own artists for DLC that is exclusive to them and not available through the japanese company unless that company made extra contracts on a case basis.
So you can't get the console DLCs through here directly.


The FES-Pack linked above would be the true equivalent of the FES RTP, but I do not know if it was remade or converted from FES. If it had similar problems to the DS packs and had to be remade then there is little chance to get an artist to remake the other DLCs.
If the file and picture formats were close enough then you might have a chance to get a conversion, but that would still require enough interest for Komodo to hop though the contract loops to get a licence for those parts.

Now I think, wild guess, that OP has the DS+ graphics for MV, thinks it is the same as FES, and thinks the FES RTP is DLC... Do you still follow? If that is the case, then your link was indeed what they were looking for.

Double check which DLC you got and what it is you're looking for.

So, after checking the internet, it looks like the only way to attain the RPG Maker FES DLC, specifically this pack, is to either buy a 3DS and hope that the eshop is still up and running or emulate it and rip the assets.

Uhm... buying the assets for 3DS will not be the solution for MV. As far as I know, you cant get geaphics from your 3ds to your PC. And even if they do, it might not come with the proper license.

I might be wrong, but I never hward of anyone successfully use 3ds graphics in MV or (more frequently requested) the other way around.

There is plenty to choose from, though. If it is characters in RPG style you're after, you might want to check the character generatoer parts. There are quite a few available, and if you have a bunch of them, you can basically create unlimited characters.

BTW, I was assuming you use MV, because the DLC mentioned before is for MV. But I notice your profile says you use VX Ace. So, were you looking for MV or VX Ace?

None of the "special resource packs" that only came with fes are on pc, if you're looking for the free modern and sci-fi set, just buy ds+, it has both.
