RPG Maker fonts not working?

Hey, so I recently got into Space Funeral, a free RPG maker game. It looks really cool, but i have a teeny problem: the fonts are all messed up. Can anyone help?





This has also happened to me with other games such as Dhux's Scar.

are you playing windowed or fullscreen? the second screenshot looks like a bad scaling in your monitor or display driver.


As for the firt case, that looks as if the game creator used a fond that is not part of the windows base fonts and forgot to include it in the game itself, resulting in Windows automatically replacing the letters. The only thing that could be done in such a case is trying to find out the font name and install it locally to your windows.

I tried downloading the font for Space Funeral, however, it didn't change a thing. Furthermore, it said I already had a font with the same name.
