In celebration RPG Maker's 24th birthday, we have released the first of several Free Game Bundles. We wanted to create a special section of our site to honor some of the best games made with the XP, VX, and VX Ace over the years!

The first bundle includes In Search of Immortality, Legionwood, Star Stealing Prince, and The Reconstruction.

These games were selected for their technical prowess, popularity, and critical acclaim. They are a small but diverse sample of what advanced users can accomplish with the simple-yet-powerful tools of RPG Maker. If you're an aspiring game developer, here's our challenge to you: play these games! Enjoy them, learn from them, and be inspired by them!

Be on the lookout for additional bundles in the coming months! Who knows? Your game might be included in a future bundle, which would give both you and your game some more exposure!

Feel free to suggest games to be included in future bundles. We already have quite a few on the queue, but we're always open to suggestions and feedback :)

Ah, something to look forward to and entertain me! I've only played Star Stealing Prince out of the list, so I should probably check out the others.

Awesome games!

I never played In Search of Immortality, I guess this is finally the right time to do it. :)

EDIT:

Ok, I was trolling about the game (I played it like 10 times and it's one of my favourites). XD

I didn't know about The Reconstructionlooks amazing! Will check it out soon.

I know the other two games, they're masterpieces.

I've been meaning to check out Star Stealing Prince so I suppose that will be first on my list.

I am glad this bundle has been released.

(Happy 24th Everybody!)

EDIT: Found out its in a Zip file... Unfortunately my Desktop is terrible and won't open those (+ My Winzip Trial expired).

So it looks I gotta wait till my Laptop is repaired... *Sigh* >_>

Already played most of these, but a great selection of great games.

I recommend all, now stop reading this and go play.

Already played them? Play them again.

Legionwood is a pretty damn awesome game(I've been playing it all night lol) so far(stat alocation system, good story, very well balanced to offer a decent challenge, and side quests throughout the game), I hope it keeps it up throughout the game.

There some very minor issues, but they're so minor, they aren't even worth mentioning.

This is a great idea, a really good way to get people's names out there and to show the good games that have come out of RPG Maker over the years. Some pretty neat titles there too.

You should offer a donate button, that sends money to the authors of the games mentioned, kinda like the Humble Bundle except allowing people to pay nothing if they want to.

The search for immortality game was awesome!  I'd love to see what the creator has next!

Question in regards to the RPG Maker Free Game Bundles... is this temporary? My computer is down and I'm on a computer thats not mine, I try to download as little as possible so this isn't likely to make it onto my list of things that I will download. I am interested though and I'd like it if I could download it when I'm back on my own computer.

Even if it was, the games are freely available anyway.

I've been watching videos about the videogame streamer Open Hand charity scandal, and the rabbit hole keeps getting deeper. At first it was just a lot of donated money being grossly neglected for years, and now there's a lot of money unaccounted for, which could turn this into a legitimate IRS crackdown.

I've been thinking about doing a jokey submission for the Christmas jam in which, like a cartoon special where all the characters "play" a counterpart in A Christmas Carol, my MagiCats would each play a role from the C.A. Smith story The Coming of the White Worm, with Cyprian as Evagh, Rousalie as Dooni and so forth. But in the end, I figure all my development efforts should go toward the game proper.
