Hey, I have another RPG Maker game idea again, but this time, it would be a remake of Five Nights at Freddy's called Five Nights at Freddy's RPG. It would have you roaming around Freddy Fazbear's Pizza trying to survive for 5 nights instead of monitoring cameras. You only have a flashlight and the animatronics stalk you. You have to survive for 8 minutes and 25 seconds. Every minute and 25 seconds changes the hour until 4 AM, which takes 2 minutes and 25 seconds to get to 5 AM, and it takes 2 more minutes and 25 seconds to get to 6 AM. You have 5 nights to survive and after you beat those, you get a secret 6th night, and after you beat 6th night, you get a collection mode similar to Slender. And also, the further you go on, the faster the animatronics go, and the harder it gets. I'll list the animatronics and what nights they start coming out on.

Freddy Fazbear:

Starting Night: 4

Speed: Slow on Night 4, fast on Night 5, very fast on Night 6.

Bonnie:

Starting Night: 1

Speed: Slow on Night 1 & 2, medium speed on Night 3, fast on Night 4, very fast on Night 5 & 6.

Chica:

Same as Bonnie.

Foxy:

Starting Night: 2

Speed: Slow on Night 2 and 3, fast on Night 4, very fast on Night 5 and 6.

How he works: When he is out of Pirate Cove, if he sees you, he'll dash towards you for 10 seconds and you got to run away. If he gets you, you're dead.

Mechanics:

You can walk around the place.

Every animatronic except for Foxy act like the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who, as if you see them, they don't move, and if you look away, they move.

If one of the animatronics get you, an animation will be shown of whoever that killed you doing their jumpscare.

Question: Why?

Five Night's Freddy's literally almost has NO story what so ever. It is a game to jump scare. If you make a RPG out of it, you take away from the game itself.

Anyway... just like with the mega-man rpg idea, this one would have copy-right issues attached to it

I've watched the full thing. There really isn't any story to it. At all. It has a very simple story yes. But it definately isn't deep enough for a RPG.

You could make one, but I doubt you could make it that long. Hour max perhaps?

Why not just make it into an original concept, rather than copying off a pre-existing plot? Like, have it be robbers in a bank or something?

How about take the gameplay mechanic you want and craft your own custom world and characters using it?

Then you can elegantly justify, in-universe, why things are certain ways.

And at least I get more satisfaction from creating my own game world than borrowing someone else's, no matter how much I love a particular one.  And that sidesteps any legal issues, if it is a completely custom game world and characters.

I actually want to see a horror game where your job is to scare off some unsuspecting schmuck. Instead of trying to avoid the big stalker, you ARE the stalker.

the idea of a freddy's rpg...

kind of reminds me of a rpg maker game PewDiePie was playing called the crooked man...

now I know there both entirly different games. However, the feel is kind of the same and you could start there, to see how a horror RPG taking place in a location/locations could play out

I had the same idea but there was one problem. I have no way of getting the five night at freddy's animatronic sprites. no one has made any and I have no idea how.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
