If I purchased and downloaded this on November 1st, 2015 from rpgmakerweb.com did I get the latest version on everything including Yanfly's scripts or do I need to update manually.

Yanfly updates his/her scripts very often, even if you got the latest ones, you should always check the Yanfly's scripts thread for updates.

Any word on when/whether the Mac standalone version is coming out? I work for a school that is trying to get a copy of RMMV, but we only use Macs and our network blocks all connections to Steam services.

Me too! Can't take this long to fix the standalone Mac installer... I used to crank out a professional looking dmg in 2 minutes when I was an indie game developer a couple of years ago. It's extremely easy.

They said at the beginning that they don't want to create a new Mac-Installer for every minor fix, but wanted to wait until most of the reported problems are fixed before creating a new Mac standalone.

There was no reason given but I assume they don't want to jump through all the loops of Apple's quality control for each change again and again.

@Andar: Hm. Apple's quality control would only be an issue when releasing it through the Mac App Store. Apple doesn't review standalone installers that are sold directly from a business's web site.

At this point, I'm not looking for a Mac installer for every minor little future fix. I just want an installer for whatever they've got now, so I can start playing with it. I bought MV because it was advertised as being available for Mac. I don't think it's unreasonable that I want an installer for Mac. We've been waiting for 2 months. This delay is beyond frustrating. And the company's lack of communication about this is making it even worse. At the very least, they owe their paid customers an updated explanation.

Not to defend them or anything, because we've all been in your situation for something at one point, or will be rather, and a standalone installer would be nice. However they do explicitly state right before you purchase, on the products page the following:

The Mac OSX version of RPG Maker MV uses Valve's Steam platform as DRM. When you purchase from this site, you'll receive a key that will activate the Steam version of RPG Maker MV.
So anyone who purchased for Mac expecting a standalone installer or wanting one was told full well that there wasn't one and that it used steam. For that matter, they really don't even need to release one since they stated it uses steam. But again, not to defend them or anything, just trying to point something out :)

Sorry, if I came off rather rude.

The Mac standalone release in Japan is going to be for download only from what it says on the Japanese MV page.  So the have no standalone version for Mac being included with the physical box copy that gets released in Japan in a few days.  So you might want to take into account that they are most likely  wanting  to wait and see what other bugs get reported with the Japanese MV release, so they can fix them so they  won't be in the Japanese and English Mac versions when they get released.  In Japan they are only currently getting forwarded bug reports from the people who didn't buy the Japanese release of MV or from Japanese testers about problems with MV.

Every few days I will go to this topic and check if a Mac STANDALONE is available. Always there is no new update since last 27 Oct update.

I think it's quite reasonable for customers to ask for a STANDALONE version. And after about 2 months, there is still no news on that. Hope to see any news on what's going on here.

The remastered RM2K m4a/ogg files and MV RTP sci-fi busts under "ExtraAssets" (and somewhat off-topic, the looseleaf pack and pending MV support for GCH) were nice surprises when logging into steam today!

It also looks like the "RPGmakerWeb_plugins" folder was updated too, though the only change appears to be Japanese descriptions were added to each of the plugins (except the Ace converter) and a Japanese text document was added. Are there any changes to the terms of use in that text file that English users should be concerned with?

This seemed like the best thread to comment under. I'm not sure if this was a true 'update', an extension of the 'Wednesday freebies', or something unrelated that warrants a new thread under product support.

If it helps some more, i tried it in a new project and had no problem. the project that crashes has 60 maps. as a test i made 61 blank maps in the new project and didn't have an issue deleting the 61st map or deleting 3-60 in one shot, but my big project has a major issue with deleting maps now. i then made a complete copy of the big project and tried again which resulted in a crash.

Just took the time to update my program.

I like.

But if I could add two constructive comments:

1.) A shortcut key for full screen.

2.) In Windows 10, if I snap the program to (for example) the left side of the screen and open some notes on the right side of the screen, some of the toolbar buttons become obscured. Especially concerning is one of said buttons is play test. Can they wrap the toolbar or shrink the buttons if the screen is windowed?

Not sure this is the right place, but throwing it out there.

F4 for fullscreen.

Not really sure about #2 but we'll investigate. If you can show us a vid we can look at it.

I put out a new pack and I swear, I did not realize how it looks like the ones on the right are scared/nervous of the one on the left until way after o_O I just wanted to showcase some of them randomly xD
Well, if anyone has a funny, simple, easy RM game they want me to playtest/review, I would love it.
Someone close to me straight up told me they didn't think my relationship with my girlfriend would last. No lead up, very bluntly. Like it's obvious or something. Trying not to let it get to my head, but it's hard.
The distraction would be a life saver.

My first foray into a plugin that I plan to release. Working on something for those who want to set up a Dragon Quest style battle HUD with minimal fuss. Includes the ability to round the battleback corners to fit your windowskin and, of course, front-view animations.

Do you ever wonder where the heck everyone is going at 9:00 at night? Like... guys, go home! Get some sleep! Me? Oh, I'm out to get pizza 'cause I decided supper time was 9:30 tonight.
