RPG Maker MV Activation issue

I was informed by steam that the publisher revoked my RPG Maker MV. I had this activated on Steam back in June, and been using it for 2 months. I was informed today by steam it was revoked and removed from my library. After speaking to steam I was told by steam:


Hello,Your CD Key for this game has been revoked at the request of the publisher.You will need to contact the seller for further assistance. Gavin


I would like to know why this was revoked after 2 months of use, since it activated fine, and no issues. Main reason I am trying to find out is that this was bought during summer sale time, and now this product is full price, which means if I want to re-buy this product, it will cost me a lot money. Any assistance in this matter would be GREATLY appeciated

Don't think I've ever heard of this issue...unless you were trolling on the game's Steam pages, or trying to provide torrent links for the game by using your own copy(or any number of things breaking the terms of service), I don't really know how to help other than say do as they instructed. Try submitting your issue here. They're typically decent at replying within a couple of business days. Patience will be your friend here.

What I was trying to find out is why the publisher wanted this to be inactive. The seller is not sure at all, and thought this was strange that it was active for 2 months and then revoked. I am current speaking to seller and steam, but more information i have the better. Since I thought they said the publisher wanted it revoked, they could help me understand why on here (since this is the publishers i believe, correct?)
