Hi, I purchased an RPG Maker MV code a couple of days ago, when I enter the code
I'm told the code is invalid when I attempt to authorize online.
The offline method is a dead end as it results in submitting a support ticket, to which I get no reply.
Please Help.

@Big Ki
1) where exactly did you purchase the maker? Please give the weblink to that shop.
There are two different versions (steam and non-steam) and a key you got from a steam-reseller cannot activate the non-steam version. Only if you purchase here on RMW the key you get should be able to activate both versions

2) The support tickets usually work, but Degica is a small company with limited resources and it can take up to three business days to get a response - where exactly and when did you send a support ticket?
(additionally, some website links through search engines might get you to an old system that hasn't been watched for years, the support tickets should be send through the support link top right on this site)

Hi Andar,
I purchased RPG Maker MV (PC Download) from Amazon UK on Wednesday 17th (2 days ago).
I have not installed Steam on my system.
Weblink: I'm attempting to use the software on Windows 10 Bootcamp (Mac OSX 10.11.2).
All support tickets have been sent via the support link top right on this site.
I have sent several over the last 2 days.
Thanks for getting back to me.

I have sent several over the last 2 days.
As I said, you need to wait for a response, and that can take up to three business days - sending several tickets will not speed that up.

Unfortunately I don't know if Amazon sells the steam version or the non-steam version.
But I strongly suggest you install steam on your computer and test if you can activate the key there - because steam has a native MacOS version of RMMV and you don't need to start Windows if you're using Steam on your Mac.

As for your version - the only person who can check if Amazon sells the Steam or non-Steam version is @Lunarea

Thanks for the information.
I purchased the RPG Maker MV - PC Download version because I want to use the software offline on Windows 10.
The version that you are speaking of is
and is absolutely not what I wanted, so I did not purchase that version, as I do not want to install Steam on my Mac or work whilst online.
I hope that somebody can help me with this situation, and will patiently be waiting for a response from customer services.

you can place steam into offline mode as well and use RM there without any internet connection as well.
However, in this case you'll most likely have to wait for an answer to the support tickets next week, only they can guide you through an offline activation, and I assume it's part of the bootcamp/emulater setup on your computer that prevents the online activation.

Thank you Andar for your assistance in this matter.
I followed your advise and attempted to test whether or not the code I purchased was working by installing Steam on my Mac partition.
But unfortunately I received the same invalid code response when entering the code.
So I assume the code itself is the problem, and I'll have to wait for my support ticket(s) to be be answered.

So after 12 days no reply from RPG Maker support in regards to this matter.
This is extremely poor.
I would be grateful if anybody has any advise, as all I have left is to start making complaints.
All I want is to use to software I purchased.

Someone mentioned here that the download version sold on Amazon does NOT include the Steam version. It only contains the standalone version.

Thanks SamJones, as I mentioned here the Steam version of this software is absolutely not what I wanted, so I did not purchase that.
I purchased the standalone version with the intention of using it standalone (PC Offline).

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
