Aaah, here's my update, that I meant to post after I quit working on stuff, but by then it was almost 7am and I was a little too dead to post...

Anyway, got 3 minor maps done, 1 big parallax map and implemented several plugins. Then I realized I made some mistakes and bugs while half-asleep though... Those I'll have fun fixing today. And thus no new screenshots here just yet.  :|

The entrance to the cave, after going to it on the world map. I just don't feel happy with it, RMMV's RTP is much harder to work with than VX Ace's or XP's IMO. I want an entrance map, but this just doesn't feel very "ice cavey" to me. It's hard to work with an injured finger, lol.

I'm really impressed with what everyone is up too.  I didn't realize how much was getting done in just a short time frame since the release.

 I'm starting a new base for bears/lions and hopefully I will have some more critters done by tomorrow along with a few varying body types to go into the walking/battler sprites.  They can't all be muscle/lithe characters after all.

Just a quick note since someone brought it up again, I haven't received approval for the badge to be added to the avatar, so I would say it's safe to assume it's for your signatures and profiles atm only as we discussed ahead of time.

Today I made all my weapons, armors, shields an accessories with all their stats and descriptions. Around 140 in total. I tried to use real european medieval names as much as possible.

Ok, I have now have all of the name for all of the cover art characters except for 2 of them.

Chimg and Hayatemaru are the only ones I can't find name meanings for. 

Hayate I do know  can mean  "the fresh breeze" and maru is "circle" or round  shaped liked a a ball.

I also did find out that Hayatemaru is name of a popular Japanese ramen noodle chain of restaurants.  They even have some restaurants in the U.S.

Regardless of weather or not i can find name meanings for these 2 I'll post my reserach findings at the end of the week on Friday or Saturday.

Working on our group project that started in Ace and we re-started in MV (we had only started in September). So got some maps started in MV and character creation is almost complete. Moving along nicely now.

Trying to split my game into a series of planned expansions - I'm recreating a large game, so rushing in and making it all at once is a huge no - but at the same time I do want to make sure it is all done pretty quickly.

Guess I'll join in to keep myself motivated~

My games simply put a test project designed simply to get the basic foundation for my main project. The story is being built around the protagonist finding a way out of his bizarre circumstances.

As far gameplay goes, it's being modeled after the SaGa games, and emphasizes freedom in both character customization and gameplay.

My goal for this weekend is simply to update and finish the skill sets for the next two weapon tree's

Oh, I started to paint a character's picture. And I have some fears.
1. I do not know in what clothes to dress her (literally).
2. I can not draw with colours ( yeah, I'm a little paint, but I do not have any work in colours).
3. So, I'm afraid that will throw it  :)  (as it was before).

Hi there, everyone. My name is Solon and I started to use RPG Maker MV with its trial version of 20 days. My objective is to make the first part of my game within this period, using only the defaut resources and the wonderful character editor. I have only 3 days left, but I think I still can make it. 

My game's principal idea is about treasure hunting and the exploration of dungeons, in order to get artefacts left by an ancient and magical civilization of the past. Once a explorer finds a new dungeon, he need to call up a special kind of mercenaries, due to the dangers who usually exists in these dungeons, like ancient monsters, deathtraps and even thieves trying to steal the ancient treasures. These mercenary who specialize in helping explorers are called 'DreamChasers', and that is the provisory name of my project.

I created my own world of 'Neveryn' to do this game, and in this world there are many races of people, including the Human people, the Kurgel people, the Meoi people, and the Luunoronti people. I may add some more later, but these four is already settled and they all live in harmony in the towns of 'Neveryn'.

Neveryn is pretty much like the earth, but I gave it a autumn looking colors, so all the trees and grass is yellowish, and the water is almost green. Lol, I really don't know if anyone will care about these kind of details. Anyway, here is one of my maps.

To finish the first half of this game, all I need to do is a town and a dungeon, so I think I still have time. I hope I can post the demo here in the forum soon. Thanks for your attention and sorry for my bad english. I'm from Brazil.

Figured the main plot and character, and now learning on how to make beautiful parallax map...and faster..(took me long time only to finish 1 map)

I've done a lot of NPCs again, I now have 44 different NPCs inside the military base. I'm also done with floors -1 to 2. One left, then I'll start scripting again, notably my mission window.

I managed to get name info now for all the cover art characters except for Chimg.

B2 & Hayatemaru are going to be 2 that are going to require some extensive notes for name meanings.  Hayatemaru's section of notes is mostly to explain the use of maru as part of the character's name.  When used as a suffix it is common in boys names and the exact meaning of maru has changed over the years,plus some historical and cultural notes were needed to explain why it was used as a suffix

Fortunately the notes are all done for those two.characters and typed up and ready to be posted with the others.

I still need to type in the information for Frist, research is all finished on that name and still try and find find a name meaning for Chimg.

Felt sort of stupid with the maru research as I had a bit of name research I had done previously on my laptop that had some of the info in it, that I had forgotten about.  (Real bad especially cause I use to chat with the guy who did the name article, etc. with it all the time before he passed away a few years ago.)

My project is based on a Ninja that travels to a castle, to retrieve an item stolen from his home and punish those who stole from him. I have finished the demo, which I made during the trial version of MV (20 days).

You will travel through several levels of the castle, full of traps, hazzards and puzzles, with boss battles at the end of each level.

The game pays a homage (sort of) to the NES 8-bit video game series Ninja Gaiden, but not as hard to beat.

It's a work in progress, which I will finish, once I get the funds to buy the full engine and the DLC on Steam.

It's my second RPG game that I'm working on, but the first game to use the new engine, and the Demo will be available on Itch io in a few days.

Everyone's projects really sound and look so good so far. I feel like this thread is actually really help me find motivation to do stuff, so, mission accomplished! :)

Whew! I have been engaged in a whirlwind of activity, since I am trying to complete a 5-10 minute game by the 15th. We had 6 days to make the game, and I am making a lot of headway, having only really, REALLY started in on it yesterday :p This is my most recent map, for a forest, where the MC needs to travel to collect some items for the farm.
