Sorry for this silly question...

I read a lot about MV and 'no more hidden classes' things. What is a hidden class actually? Is it something like Sprite and Window classes on Ace? Or is it something else that doesn't documented on the help file.

Thank you.

Yes, it means that classes like Sprite, Window, Input, and others are no longer hidden to us. We can see and freely change how they work using plugins, so it gives scripters a lot more freedom to customize games with plugins. If you don't intend to use plugins and just want to make a game using the default system, this will not affect you.

Thanks for making things clearer.

But as far as I know, we can change any class behaviour in ruby. For example, we can change String class so "2" + "2" will return "4" instead of "22", right?

So, as long as we have a documentation (and we already had it on help file) about those hidden classes, can I say that they aren't really hidden? We can still modify them somehow.

Yes, and you can change how the default, hidden classes work, but you can't see how they work now, so changes are probably not going to work very well with everything.

Ah, I get it now. It's about how they works, not about what is their job.

Thank you very much

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
